when they’re naked yeah it’s all the same model but like dragon age 2, the armors themselves are designed to look as though people have different frames. it’s why liara and ash have different body types. and kaidan is deffo smaller

lmao comment #3 i got this comparison by paying real close attention to their armor on the weapon loadout screen. you can see the webbing on both of them and kaidan’s shoulders and ribcage are more slender than shepard’s

I don’t have Shepard’s ME3 model (I should really get into the game and take some flycam screens for that) but after seeing this I REALLY SEE YOUR POINT. He’s definitely smaller than Shepard in the waist and shoulders, d’awwww. Doesn’t matter. Biotic. He’s not going to go up and lift weights with his arms or anything he’s just going to throw them around with his mind. He did get a lot bigger though. And he has massive tits now. Aaaugughu what’s going on why is his chest area so massive WHAT HAPPENED.

Both boys got nothing on James though. I mean—I don’t even have a model of that guy in his armor but damn he looks bigger than the both of them even without it. I’d also put James as taller than the both of them. He must be like 6’5” or something. lol. lol lol. Because the guy’s a KROGAN BATTLEMASTER OF SOME SORT.

If either of you wonderful ladies comes across a good reference pic for exactly what the webbing is like under the armor (I assume that first layer of cloth armor righto?) please lemme knowww… I do love thinking about this. so much love!

SO DO I as evidenced by my SCIENCE!! I’m pretty sure they wear some sort of suit liner. Shepard has that crosshatch webbing he’s been wearing since ME2 which I think is a whole full-body piece (like, if he took off the plates, you could see it wrapped around him) made out of the same really thick/durable material (which is also on Ashley’s/Liara’s alternate armors). Kaidan seems to be wearing something different—it actually looks like he’s actually wearing a uniform/Major jacket underneath, which could be quite stupid, considering how hot it would get. Garrus also wears some sort of military uniform type of thing under his turtle shell, too. It’s odd. Whatever that is around Kaidan’s neck, though, it’s definitely some different cloth and not suit liner; his suit liner seems to be a lot more cloth than Shepard’s.
